• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

E3 vs Iridium Spark Plugs

Spark Plug

If the costs are close try it, only then will the questioned be answered. For me, B.S. I have been on the planet long enough to have seen several designs that promise more power and better M.P.G.

If all of the "improved" devices were to be installed into a given engine it would produce F1 power out of a Honda Civic.

I remember the Split power spark plugs, expensive and now gone from the market.

Fads come and go, do what works for you. That said, the Iridium plugs have given me the longest life and the cheapest costs per mile.

Good Luck

A good quality Iridium tipped spark plug is the best option for almost all applications (oil burners not being one of those).

BEEN TALKING WITH

RICKY FLETCHER @ E3, here's his reply to my request:

Dan,

The E3.38 will work as a replacement for this application. We offer our E3.38 as a replacement to the MR8 but not currently to the MR7. Our plug will technically be colder than the MR7 that you are currently using but it should still work well.

Gotta say...

We were Champion Spark Plug dealer from the time spark plugs came into use. We later became dealers for the NGK plugs and later partnered to assemble Bosh plugs in Peru. Outside of going with better materials to make for a better longer lasting plug not much will matter. How many sparks you get at one time from one plug does not matter. One good one and your done. Now if you get better fuel you can get that better performance your looking for....jmo...
