• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i talked to elka the other day because i couldn't find the adjusting tool for the stage one shocks. i want to raise the front end of the bike just a little because i was bottoming out on some roads. they sent me the tool free and asked me how much i was going to turn the ring on the springs. i said 2 turns and they said that it would raise the bike 1/4 of a inch and no need to adjust the rebound. has anyone adjusted the elkas and what did you adjust them to.

Is the tool they sent you a L shaped rod? Like a round Allen key?

there is a allen key and a round rod with a slight bend in it. i know how to adjust it, just not sure about how many tighten up turns b4 you need to adjust the re bound knob

I didn't think stage 1 shocks have a rebound adjustment capability. Stage 2 come with that feature. So maybe you don't have to worry about it:dontknow:

p.s. Unless you have stage 1 +R which is now called Stage 2....
