• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Elka Stage 2 rear shock with loose spacers/bushings (black) - should they be like this?

I have a 2025 Sea to Sky RT with Elka Stage 2 suspension front and rear. I have been hearing popping noises from the rear of the bike at times, usually while accelerating. I raised the back of the Spyder with the floor jack, and after looking around, I noticed the two black spacers/bushings where the bottom bolt mounts are loose enough that you can move them by hand. I don't think they should be loose like that. I have not tried tightening the bolt yet. Just wondering if anyone else knows how they should be, before I go and contact Elka? I had them put on at a local dealership. Thanks.

If the whole bottom end of the shock is moving, then it's not tight enough, if the center sleeve's moving in the rubber than somethings up with the bottom bushing itself, and should be replaced because it should be doing that! The bracket that the shock sits in should be tightened tight to the center sleave of that shock!
