• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 Ltd - what kind of luggage bags do you use? Or a rack & extra bag?

Sue and I tour around Northern New England and the Maritimes alot. We bought soft bags at Walmart for the saddlebags and Frunk years ago, they still work great. We use Walmart canvas bags (grocery bags)for the rear trunk. They work great. You do not need to spend a fortune on bags. I would recommend soft bags over hard bags. On our luggage rack we use a small duffle bag. That is it. Bruce

I guess I am the ultimate redneck. I use cotton laundry bags. They conform to completely fill the side bags and the top case.

Snap!!

But I can't be a red-neck out here in Oz - we don't really have them, we have bogans instead... And not too many have ever called me a bogan - and certainly never twice! ;)

Mind you, my 2013 Spyder RT isn't an F3 at all; and cos it's an RT Ltd, it came with all the luggage, so I do have that stuff - it's just that I find I can pack more, and 'more efficiently' using the laundry bags or if I need lockability and handles, Pusser's Bluey's (those who know will know! ;) ) cos they fill all the nooks and crannies that the OEM luggage & most other 'formed luggage' leaves empty...
