As a very happy RS owner who recently did a demo on the F3... you really owe it to yourself to test ride both. They've VERY different machines, and each arrives at "fast and fun" in different ways.
The F3 isn't enough to make me sell my RS, but if I was buying my first Spyder, I'd really REALLY consider the F3, it's that good.
P.S. For the record, you can always do like me: buy the Spyder, and down the road, get a two-wheeler to scratch that itch whenever you need to. After all, bikes are like potato chips, you can never have just one...
