• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. FedEx is the worst!!!

Well, FedEx still has major issues with delivery to the correct address.
As per the online seller, my address was correct. My Zip Code was correct too.

The picture of the location my package was delivered to was NOT my house. FedEx said this has been a very challenging season for shipping. Said that they will Fix this issue. Six days and nothing has happened yet.
FedEx can say whatever they like. But they've had serious issues for a very long time. It's like Albec says. The season is not their problem.

I STILL haven't had a chance to test out my new snowblower!!!

We have some flurries forecast for this week, but nothing that needs a snowblower.

At least the warranty is for two years, maybe next winter?

Go down to VA, where I live. They're calling for 18-24" this weekend, with temps in the 20's down to 5.🥶

Fortunately, my wife and I are enjoying the 70 degree weather here in the Philippines.🤣

Well yesterday's FedEx delivery was a bust. They can't get it right. I believe that most of the drivers don't know 'English'. I just don't know.
FedEx, UPS, and USPS were the only delivery services here for many years. UPS was once very dependable when they had a distribution warehouse in a local town just 25 miles away. Then about a year ago they eliminated the distribution center close by and started delivering from a center about 150 miles away. The number of missing packages and misdirected packages increased and none of the services had a very good record of deliveries. Just recently Amazon started delivering from a disribution center in Geargia, but only 50 miles from here. I have never seen the truck. Nobody asked me where the package locker was located. There was no email or letter from Amazon. They just started delivering my parts and hardware. Since Amazon started the deliveries there have been no foul ups. No miss directed packages that go 4 or 5 days out of the way before they come back here, and none of my deliveries dropped off at the wrong place here. All the deliveries have been placed in my package drop box. They even take a picture of the package sitting in the drop box before they close the door and send it with the email that informs me there was a delivery. So far they have a perfect record and put all the other delivery services to shame. Their delivery drivers can obviously read English and read a GPS. I hope they can keep up the good work. Any delivery service can make a mistake because the drivers are human, but the others were making around 15% to 20% mistaken deliveries. I would not worry about an occasional mistake. It was the constant missing or stolen packages and mistaken addresses that was annoying.

Glad to hear that you're having good luck with Amazon delivery!

Amazon tentatively started making their own deliveries a couple of years ago round here. It was VERY sporadic and the very first delivery to us didn't get delivered to us but to a neighbor who lives two doors down and on a DIFFERENT street. We received a notice that our delivery was made and when I took a look at the notice and the pic, there was my package on the neighbor's porch. I walked over and knocked on their door, no one home and I just picked up my package.

So far Amazon delivery is doing well. My only complaint is that deliveries almost always come after dark. Not a big deal alone but Amazon delivery drivers always place the package OUTSIDE of the gate of our fenced in front yard. UPS brings the packaged right up to the front door and FedEx at least puts the package inside of the front gate, most of the time. Except when delivering a snowblower, after they smash the box first and then leave it outside the gate.

Well, I have survived another FedEx issue. This time, the driver got stuck in my yard. Then, to make matters worse, he tried to get out by
spinning the wheels. Somehow he got out and left me with big ruts!

Welcome to America my friend. After several calls, I finally have it fixed.

Not sure about the driver... 🤔

We recently had lunch with some good friends of ours and they recounted a story EXACTLY like yours.

The FedEx truck tried to turn around in their drive instead of backing out, and drove off of the drive and got stuck. Spinning tires and ruts, oh boy!

I would have had a few choice words for the driver, in this case, a woman.

Well, I must say our Fed Ex guy does a great job, but then, he is over 70 and yes, he still runs from his truck to the delivery spots and then runs back! (y);)

I'm not sure that FedEx would get away with 'fixing' the driver... not in any US State that I've ever visited, anyway!

Altho, having said that, I reckon there were a couple of places where they might even encourage a driver like that to breed, rather than 'fixing' them so they can't?! Or was that just their dogs??

Just Sayin' ;)
