• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First Ride of the Season

Yesterday was a real anomaly: mid 70's and bright blue skies. I had been thinking that I was still several weeks away from taking the RT out of the garage but it was too beautiful an opportunity to pass up. So even though I am only 4 weeks since my knee revision surgery, and using a cane for walking, I took a one hour ride. My leg started to hurt a bit from the bend that my seated position has, but it was still great to get out into the wind since my last ride in November 2025.

You lucky bum, I am getting ready to put the sleds away this week and get the bike out myself, can't wait!! Good luck with that knee, I have had two knee joints myself and I feel your pain, get it stretched out and get back on that bike!!!!

I hear you. Monday was sunny and 70° here in Southern WI. I looked at the Spyder and thought about it. It was under cover and on moving dollies. Riding would require uncovering, lifting off the dollies, and checking tire pressures. I also knew that starting yesterday, temps would drop and snow flurries would be back in the forecast. Highs are now in the mid 30°s. Nope. Left it as is and took the 400cc two wheeler out for a ride instead. :)

We are looking at a possible record high of 88 today. They are saying this is the warmest start to March in a long time. I think we have broken 3-4 record highs this March so far. We got a drop in temps and some rain coming tomorrow, and then back up to the low to mid 70's this weekend.
