• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My first impressions of the 2023 Spyder RTL

Now that I have accumulated nearly 1000 miles on the Spyder, I am more comfortable on the curves than I was at 500 miles. I'm still finding the steering to be somewhat twitchy when the road is not smooth. As far as taking curves like the sports bikes can. That isn't important to me. At 78 years of age, if I can get out there and enjoy myself and get back home in one piece, I'm a happy camper.
I tell people you do not steer the Spyder out on the open road, you just guide it. With light pressure on the opposite handlebar to correct its direction. Put it on cruise control and rest your hands on the handlebars. And if a German Shepherd comes out of the brush right in front of you grab the handlebars and steer through it. But that's a story for another day!!!

Raybj, I see below your comments that you have Vredestein tires listed. I have looked at their website but they don't list a tire the same size as those that come on my Spyder. What model tire and size do you run? Thanks

175/55R15's. Some complain about clearance issues on 2020+ machines.
