ive looked but cant find out how much fuel is left on an rs after you hit the low fuel lite [ 1 bar] best i can tell there is about 1 gal left

thats about what I have found it to be as well ..I usually fill up once the light comes on ... most I have ever put in my RS is 5.3 gallons but then I rode with the light on for a few miles after it came on ..usually takes anywhere between 4.5 and 5 gallons of fuel when I fill it ... hope this helps

ONE Gallon, When the light comes on hard, and i wouldn't count on much more than that.

I know from experience that once that last bar disappears, I can get to within a 1/2 mile of the nearest gas station.pps: I put a 1/2 gallon in and one bar came back.

Moral of the story: When one sees one bar, one needs to see the next gas station!

fuel light

When the low fuel light first comes on you have about 1.5 gals left. when the light starts to blink your down to about 3/4 gal... :thumbup:

I have had the light come on and fueled within 10 miles BUT will it really blink on the 09 RS model?:dontknow:

Don't know about the RT's but the GS/RS don't blink, And i've run mine to zero Gal's twice.
