• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good helmet lock

I have seen a few posts regarding different helmet lock types. Is there anything out there that most people prefer or like better? My full face modular just not quite fit into the frunk nor the R-35 saddlebags.

Choices, choices

There are quite a few. If it is opinions you need I like the kryptonite retractable cable combination lock. Can lock both helmets on the ryde...

Have to agree with Bob that Lidlox are really convenient and allow you to keep the storage compartments free for other stuff! Easy installation about 10 minutes or less.

Just saw those Lidlox and they looked they would be perfect. I guess the 1011B's for a single or the 1012B's for the dual set would be the correct ones.

Thanks all for the suggestion!

Take a look at Seal Floorboards "keyless" full face lock. It can also be used as a Ram Ball Phone holder (double duty) or any number of Ram products. No moving parts. Bolts to the handle bars. As with all Seal Products, it's easy to install and ultra simple in design and concept. I'll be selling them at Spyderfest. Check my website.
Ride in comfort,
John

1more for Lidlox:thumbup: they fit the spyder great & if any problems the customer service is awesom & fastnojoke:firstplace:. Before i got my set thow i did carry arounda cable lock & would run thru full face & handlebar or a grabrail. It woked but was more to carry aound :( Lidlox stays mounted & out of the way i have seen F3 mount them on ame bolt as the grab rails  :doorag: Very handy to only need a key & the T bar.

lidlox

Another vote for Lidlox. We really like em.

ditto for us -- we've both had them on all of our rides, even the 2 wheeled ones.

I went for a group ride this past weekend with a bunch of different motorcycles (had only ridden with a small number of the people who came for the ride) and before the ride, only a couple of the people talked to me. I thought it was going to be "one of those rides" but it actually turned out great, and at the end of the ride, everyone was clustered around the F3 asking questions and most of them played with the lidlox "what are these?" I think I converted some of them :)

I have the lid locks but find when I hang the helmet the helmet hits the side of the spider. I have the 2017 F3 L. Am I hanging it wrong?

I use an inexpensive short bike lock and lock it to the bike through the chin bar. Usually, leave the helmet sitting on the seat and the lock through the grab handles. I don't want to come out to a missing helmet with a short section of strap remaining hooked to my bars.

Received my twin Lidlox set today. Easy installation and work just as designed. Thanks to all thank recommended this product.
