Well good news is it is back in my garage and all clean after sitting around the dealership for a month to have the repairs made after yet another engine problem. This time it was the throttle positioner, a small part that is held on with 2 screws on the throttle body. Of course there is more to it then that, but the delay was just the fact that the dealer was too busy.
When she broke down I was just leaving the dealers lot so I was able to limp back to his lot. The max speed I could do on the way back was 14 mph, period. I had the software update last fall that was suppose to change this to much higher speeds, about 50 mph if I recall. I asked the dealer and they confirmed they had done the update. There must still be a problem in my mind and as I have a long trip planed in the first week of June I need answers fast. What is the contact number for the owners rep (I understand Carlos is permently gone now)?
Thanks for any input or help with this.
Thanks,
Randy
