Half helmet like HJC IS-2 vs 3/4 or full face helmets

I have my Shoe Multitec. Like it buts it gets damn hot in the summer.
I have my Nolan N43, I can wear it as a 3/4 or use the chin bar etc. This is what I wear now.
I've been thinking of getting a half helmet like the HJC IS-2. I like the pull down sun visor.

What are your thoughts?

You won't like my answer. I never wear anything but full-face since my 2004 crash. I'd rather sweat than bleed.

Remembering what they told us in my Rider's Edge course, 75% of the helmet impacts occur in the facial area. You're taking a heckuva chance with a half helmet. I always wear full face. If it's really hot, then the helmet is usually the least of my problems. Even mesh gear gets hot!

I purchased one and are well pleased with it - I use the open face whilst riding in town in very hot weather as speeds tend to be less that
35mph - Mostly around 10-20 mph due to the heavy traffic

I will use this helmet when touring as it can be changed to suit various conditions - Like taking more than 1 helmet with me
