• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anybody fitted Dual 5” Screens Instead of Analog Gauges to their Spyder? Any advice, suggestions, or concerns?

I ride a 2014 RT Limited, and I have been thinking of removing the analog temp and fuel gauges and replacing them with 5” car play screens (1 on each side).
Has anybody here done that to their Spyder? If so, any advice, suggestions, or concerns I should know about?

Just unhook the gauges you have, and that info will go digital automatically on your dash/display! You can replace the gauges with filler plates or leave the old gauges there; I got the filler plates, looks great.

Sounds like an interesting project. Definitely different. I just have a voltmeter on the right and a clock I can actually see on the left.

I used Google image search to find a picture of a 2014 RT Limited display.
I was able to also find a 5" Carplay display, but they're square and the areas on the RT display are triangular. I'm not sure how you would get it to fit.

I’m going to have 2 screens, where the gauges are, but I’m going to do away with the gauges. They are going to mount on a ram style mount. They won’t be installed like the factory screen.

Interesting idea. Hopefully you'll share a lot of pictures of the process and the final result. (y)
I will definitely take pics and video.
I tried attaching some pics earlier of the racing stripe and pinstriping but it kept saying error and file too large

This should help:

I have a Samsung Z Fold with a wireless charging system that will securely hold the phone in either the open or closed position. What a distraction! I can't imagine dealing with 2 5" car play screens. It didn't take me but about two seconds to realise how dam dangerous and distracting a multi function digital screen was. I can safely receive and handle a short phone call through my intercom system, and that's it! Anymore than that is too dangerous to deal with. JMHO if you want to stay alive on the highway.
