I was looking for possible places to mount the control knobs for the Gerbing permanent controllers and I pried up the three blank covers that on the 2014 RT are not used, the ones to the right of the Park and grip heater controls. On prying up the middle one I found this fuse looking white thingy sort of half hanging out of a black object that looks like a fuse holder, covered with what looks like silicone grease. The white thing looks like a fuse, although I have never seen a fuse quite like it, the two legs or prongs have continuity and there are
two red letters, S T, on the top edge. What is it, what is it for and does it need to be reinserted and into which slot?? I got the RT about five weeks ago and am still exploring it and trying to figure out where to mount stuff like the Gerbing dual controllers, PIAA driving lights,Glenda fog lights, auxiliary fuse block since I intend to run all aftermarket farkles through a switched, relayed fuse block directly from the battery.
Any suggestions are more than welcome.
Thanks
Andy
