There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Hope I'm not done riding my Spyder for the year?!

The last few days here in Northern Illinois have been wet and cold, with high temps around 40°. I still haven't prepared the Spyder for the winter, and I'm still hopeful that we will yet have a warm day or two before we reach December. But having had the chance for two nice, long rides on November 15th and 16th, I can live with the thought of the season being over.

I live in the Arkansas River Valley between the Ozark and the Ouachita Mountains. Most of the time I can ride year round with the occasional 2-3 week cold spell where temps struggle to get into the 40s. But with good gloves and a heated jacket liner even that can be dealt with pretty easy.
