• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How BIG was it ???

Jeriatric

Thinks out loud
Normally this would not have been significant. But, pre dawn this morning I headed out to meet some folks for an early putt and :coffee:. I'm not on the spyder this morning, but the KTM. It needed an airing out.

Big things, that fly in the night. How big? At least the size of a hummingbird......a moth it was...when it hit me square in the chest at 60 MPH.....we're talking guts galore. My jacket, my gloves, tank and seat. What a mess!!

What's the big deal.....had just washed my jacket and the bike. That's all.

I once got hit by a load from a pelican with the runs on the hood of my car, you want to talk mess!! :roflblack: boy it should have rained then...:roflblack:

June Bugs are kind of an armor-plated little essobee that's the size of a dime...
Run through a swarm of them at speed, and you'll always wear a visor...

Many years ago, a friend of ours got hit in the chest by a bat!!! Said that was an interesting experience :cus:!!!

Splat Happens :roflblack:

Glad no one got hurt. After running into a swarm of bees on a country road in Ohio one summer, I decided to always ride with my faceplate down, and my jacket buttoned up. I got stung several times but got the bike pulled over before I could start swatting the bees that went down my shirt.
