How far can the Ryder Pillion seat be raised?

Hi folks, my sweethearts head, sitting on the 2013 RTL is one inch shorter than mine.
Meaning her seat would have to be raised about 6 inches higher than me to be able to see above me.
Is that positive or practical? And if so, who could do it please?

Six inches is "right much" as they say down here as you are also raising the CG of the Spyder which could introduce significant handling issues depending on how much sweetie weighs. If you raise the seat, what impact will it have on sweetie's ability to reach the floorboards and passenger hand grips? Before you think about having a seat specialist go carving up your seat or building a new one you should consider riding with a seat cushion or two propping her up and see how everything works. FWIW, my bride can't see over my helmet and she's accustomed to viewing the world to either side. YMMV.

Unless the ryde has a extra,extra TALL windshield---- her head will be in the wind and maybe in the turbulent vortex that comes off many windshields. On my RTs with the BRP vented shield, my wife feels the buffeting unless the shield is all the way up and the vent open ( anything over 60 MPH ).

Very good point, Lew. Didn't think about that but when wife rides I run the windshield all the way up.
