I'm just curious. With the complaint of back issues, was it diagnosed by a primary care physician and/or orthopedist? Did they offer any exercises or recommend physical therapy? All too often as people age they shy away from exercise as something that will increase pain.
I only bring this up because I saw an orthopedist yesterday for a back issue as related to dermatomes. Primary care physicians are not experts on issues that are handled by orthopedists, in my honest opinion.
I do hope that whatever spyder or bike they choose does help to allow them to continue to ride.
