• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I told my wife the wrong dates for the BBQ and she booked a flight two days before. Totally my fault so my wife and my father inlaw will not be here to help and enjoy you all. :gaah:

Would it not be possible to call the airline up and for a small fee they change the flight schedule?:dontknow:

Bummer to hear that.

Sorry to hear about that Lamont. :(
But you know how friendly and outgoing CowTown is..... maybe they will make up the difference in the cost of the tickets. :joke:
But it is a bummer, that's for sure. Will the wiffee fit in the trunk or trailer? :joke:

Guess we'll have to put someone else on snake duty seeing the wife won't be there. :D

We will miss Chris, but Brian and I will be there to help. We should arrive at your place on Wed. night. and not too late either.

Lamont, I can see that you are having to beat the snake duty volunteers off with a stick ... :roflblack: :roflblack:

Typically it's been a $200 chump fee for when I make airline travel changes. :gaah:

It doesn't cost anything to call and ask or to go on line to see. This was lifted from ehow.com "
Select your new flight. You will be prompted to pay a change fee, if applicable, and the difference between the price of your new flight and your original flight. Change fees vary by airline, but in 2010 were generally in the range of $100 for domestic tickets and $200 for international bookings.

We have tried this in the past. Depends upon your definition of "small fee"!:yikes:

To me small would be 25% or less of the ticket value. So obviously if the ticket was 300 and the change $200 no way.

best of luck.

Lamont...forgive for not thinking....we will come early...just pm me and tell me what time and I'll put all my tag alongs to work....some of them know how to put on a Bar-b-que....we could even come a day early.....after all we are leaving May 18th ....

My husband taught Cinema & Photography at SIU for 31 years and each May he would invite the whole department, students and faculty, to the house for a bar-b-que/get together. He didn't mention this practice until after I married him 13 years ago in January. That April he mentioned that we'd be cooking for approx. 200 students (ages 18-26) and faculty and allowing them full access to our house, our 22 pinball games, our hot tub and the pool. I can tell you if I had been smart and had somewhere to go, I would have happily booked a flight and skipped town for a few days! (Although I admit I ended up having fun each year and enjoying meeting everyone, but it sure was a lot of work!) Chris sounds like a really nice person and she has to be a sweetie to deal with Lamont and Ron's escapades, but since she's not as into this Spyder "stuff" as some, were I in her shoes I'd not be willing to pay ANYTHING to change the dates! I'm sure there will be plenty of attendees who will be happy to help out.
