• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Indoor cover - pros and cons

Having just put my 2008 SE5 away for the winter the question that comes to mind deals with indoor covers. Is it absolutley necessary to cover the spyder while stored in an attached unheated garage (family room over the garage) over the winter. What function does the cover actually perform other then keeping dust of the bike and is it necessary to actually use a cover ?

Thanks in advance.

My guess is that the cover is just to keep the dust off and the cover needs to be breathable so that moisture is less likely to accumulate.

:cheers:The cover just keep the dust & crud of the:spyder:We will have to meet in the spring, and hope it's an early one

:agree: Just keeps the dust off. I can't manage to cover all 23 bikes and two collector cars in the garage, so I only cover the cars, and an occasional bike. Just slows you down a bit, to clean them in the Spring.
