2016 Spyder RT limited - Old Man Edition
I'm installing an inline fused rocker switch style USB C charge port. The center blank had a round hole, so I can cut a new one to fit. I have read of others having problems with the existing hole under the blanking plate being too large... but I'm feeling Lucky...
I am going to get my HOT wire from the fog light plug, the Orange-Red wire probes as hot when key is on. I think I'll grab a ground from a body panel screw about 10" away. I there any reason why I shouldn't do this?
I'm going to ponder the rest of the evening and plan on doing the job tomorrow, unless someone has a good reason not too???
Any and all opinions and options welcome... Thank You - Mike
