Instrument Cluster

I notice durning the day light hours my instrument cluster back ground is white. When it gets dark outside the cluster back ground becomes orange. Is this normal? Can I make the back ground orange at all times?

Instrument gauges

That is the way BRP has set it up. As the daylight gets brighter the screen will get darker and at night it will turn orange in your case, my is blue. This is so you do not have this bright light shinning your face.

It is normal...and cannot be changed.

Well..!!

I remember a thread talking about this and how to locate the light senor and covering it with black tape. This makes the night time color work all the time..you could check back..!! :dontknow:

The sensor is at about the one o'clock position in the analog speedometer...
A piece of black tape and you're good to go! :thumbup:
(And it's easy to change back to the original configuration too!)
