• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Interesting Throttle Mod Video

Advertising can be a free-for-all proposition. Seldom do you get an in depth, honest accounting for a product. My opinion is that most customers don't want to put that much effort into it. So, slick marketing can sometimes be more important to the producer than a straight shooting presentation.

I might have gone a bit softer on the rhetoric than Banks did. But the info was worth the watch for me.

See what you think.

Well he certainly didn't hold back on the rhetoric! That was rather entertaining. Unfortunately it doesn't appear that they make the product for Spyders. I have a Pedal Commander and am very happy with it, and it has never caused a problem or codes on my bike.

No, Banks does not make a Throttle Modifier for the Spyder/Ryker. That's why I placed the thread in the 'Off Topic' forum. But Spyder/Ryker owners have other vehicles which they might find the video helpful.

I agree that the rhetoric was over the top. But it helps to look at it from Mr. Banks point of view. He has dedicated his life to doing things right in the extreme. He lives it, breaths it, and what he does is his life. Whatever each of us has made our life's work, to have these efforts misrepresented can be very hard to take.

My hope is that those who watch this gleen the valuable information and disregard the chaff. I didn't post this to bash Pedal Commander. People are using them on their rides and are happy, as you are. Again, it's just information.

.

I'm so glad I had my ECU flashed my Monster Fuel Injection. I did get the throttle response increase option as well as an actual increase in horsepower. Along with the intake and exhaust mods, My poor old 2014 RTS walks away from other Rts in our group.

An ECU flash is the right way to do it. But it's not plug and play. Nor is it inexpensive. Everything is a tradeoff. The PedalBox and Pedal Commander are viable products that do a great job for a reasonable amount of cost and effort.
