• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

IPOD NANO (little square one) mount location?

I have the IPOD Nano (the little square guy) just hanging in my trunk. Works fine but worried one day cramming things in or taking out, I'll break the thing. Anybody come up with a good way to mount the bugger so it is semi out of the way?
Thanks in advance.

a little hook and loop tape (can't think of the other name for this) should allow you to position it anywhere you want and still be able to remove it if you want.

Velcroed

out of the way in my rear trunk close to the plug-in....1000's of miles and never an issue and when I travel I CRAM my rear trunk FULL..I used the super duper industrial strength velcro

OPTION #10

I don't do things the easiest way :yikes: soooooooooooooooooo I removed the connection from the trunk and ran that part of the Harness up the right side and put a hole in my glove box and mounted it there. So my MP-3 ( or I-Pod ) is in my glovebox so I can access it ( even if BRP doesn't want me to :roflblack: )..........Mike

WARM ? ? ?

Mike,
How warm does that glove-box get with the 1330s? :dontknow:
It doesn't get warm.....it's isolated from any heat source....................I keep my cigarettes and a lighter in there, and if a BUTANE lighter gets warm ....when you light it , the flame will be twice as large (or more) as normal. My lighter has always been normal even on a HOT day.....Mike

Industrial strength
VELCRO
