• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is anyone else Running out of fuel like this?

2021 F3S with 13,500 miles. The last few times my dash says 55-60 miles left till I need to refill, it seems to run out of fuel. Once I coast to side of road, it will start right back up, then I make a mad dash for fuel. Does anybody else hear of this? Once filled, it runs fine again.

If I were you, now you know that number, I would stop or look for gas when it's close to 80! I would use the milage off my trip set to start with, then after you know your MPG, use the trip meter to safely set a set milage to gas from. Like Andy said, you should not bring your gas down to the point the the Spyder is shutting down, that miles till empty has too many variables in it, and it can leave you in a hard spot! Good Luck!!! I look for gas whenever my gauge drops to two bars and turns red!

I'll agree with the previous comments.
The miles to empty number is not reality based, in my experience.
I look for gas when the bars turn red as well. Though I've yet to put more than 5 gallons into what is supposed to be a 7 gallon tank. That theoretically leaves me with around 78 miles to empty, depending on conditions.
Frankly, I don't trust anything on the Spyder dashboard.
