After all the CCW talk in Off Topic I took my son who is down from Ohio to the range today. Very glad I did I found out the Hornady HP's I was betting my life on in my P64 won't feed right , one and done. All the Russian rounds squirted just fine. Guess the HP are now practice rounds. Shot 100rnds in my rifle. 50 rnds in my 1911 (split between us). He had never shot a semi auto before. He was happy to do it with his dad.:thumbup:
Got home and it was 66deg time to try out my new composite GMAX helmet that Santa so graciously gave me early and went to jump on the Spyder for a trip to get milk....the long way. Maybe it's the weather or the bike breaking in but it sure spun up quickly through the gears redline comes too fast (as well as the speed limit). It sure seems to like this weather ,just as I do, and the Gmax 54s composite was so different than it's 67s 3/4 brother. Very quiet going down the road until I turned on my BT and the tunes from my Phone which were crystal clear. An hour later I finally found the grocery store. I liked the helmet and the ride so much I just might do it again tomorrow . Wonder what I may need to go get....the long way? :dontknow:
