I posted a one star review of the BRP GO! and got a response from the developers and ordered a 6 inch cable this morning...

Quote: We recommend a USB 2.0 or higher cable supporting 3 amps or more, a data transfer speed of at least 480 Mbps, and 6 inches long or less. Also ensure the following permissions have been enabled in your phone’s settings:
- Appear on top (Settings > Apps > BRP GO! > Appear on top > On)
- Nearby devices & Phone (Settings > Apps > BRP GO! > Permissions)

thanks for the tip, ordered a 2 pack of the ones you said to,supposed to be here friday, hope they work...

I use a 1 meter/3.3 foot long USB-A to USB-C cable from Belkin. I choose that cable because it has a heavy braided sheath over the cable, protecting it from anything it might rub on while riding. It's worked fine with Apple CarPlay.

these are the ones I ordered, their braided, I was going to put the text part on the first post,but I couldn't figure out how to do it, their on the walmart site
