Adrien and I took a ride to Jay Peak, Vermont, last Saturday, the weather was great, awesome ride, we stopped @ the Cajun Restaurant on Route 100 ( which runs north/south). They have a water park, Ice house, hotel/motel, golf coarse, skiing, in the winter( white gold), this resort operates year round.

Here are some pictures of our ride: Jay Peak RidejJuly2017 007.jpg at the entrance, Jay Peak RidejJuly2017 004.jpg Jay Peak RidejJuly2017 010.jpg parking lot Jay Peak RidejJuly2017 005.jpg If anyone who travels thru Vermont put this on your bucket list to see/visit. Deanna

Looks like a nice ride. Glad to see your getting some miles on. We did the north shore of Lake Superior last weekend and leaving Friday morning to ride Michigan for the weekend. Ride safe,Happy Trails

It was a great ride, it is only 80 miles from central Vermont, depending on route taken. I have 19,060 miles on spyder this far, I still have the month of August, September, possible October of spyder riding, before the White Gold hits, and the spyder goes into hibernation. Then it is new motor toy adventure :ohyea:.

Sounds like you also have been putting on some miles on. Have a safe trip/ride to Michigan this week-end.

Great pics. I have only gotten to ride around through Vermont one time and it was beautiful.
Makes me want to take a fall color tour through there this year.......we will have to see what the weather and work brings.

Thanks for posting the pics.

Jay Peak Ride

I had to chuckle out loud when I saw the photo of the Covered Bridge! We had friends from Florida that came back here to Maine for a visit. We took a ride over into New Hampshire stopping in Bethel,Maine for a photo op. There was a quite small covered bridge that fit they're bike, a Harley, and mine at the time, a Honda VTX 1300. A nice person offer to take a couple of photos of us in the bridge so both couples would be in the photos. They took them and went on their way. However, before we could get on our way, a local person stopped to chew us out because the bridge was on a walking/jogging path and not part of the road system. Since then a sign has been posted that can be read from quite a distance of that fact!

I'll keep the stories heading this way.

Stay tune!

Cajun Snack Bar

Yes, It was a great ride and myself and Deanna had a fun day for sure taking the road trip and enjoying the scenery! I've ridden in the Jay peak area in northern VT many times and always enjoy the scenic back drops out in this region. This area is also one of my favorite snowmobiling destinations during the winter months. This was a first for Deanna and it was pleasure taking her on this road trip.
The Cajun's Snack Bar in Lowell Vermont on Rte 100 is a must stop for anyone touring this area during the summer months and into early fall. The food is great and seems to be a main hub for motorists, ATV riders, Motorcycles and Spyders of course. We have seen Slingshots stop in as well. The place is always busy, which is a testament to the awesome food choices.
