• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

I'm in Bartlett Tennessee and the dealer near me is FRS Powersports. I called another dealer in Olive Branch, MS which claim to have the parts but only have one tech and many bikes in line for service. When I look at their reviews, I'm just not sure I want to take a chance with them.
FRS is a joke. I dealt with them for over two months and they kept having excuse after excuse that they couldn't get the parts or the right parts to do the recall. I called the dealer in Olive Branch and they set up an appointment with a week, took it to them and had it back in two days. They only have one Can-Am tech but they say he is the best around. I had no issues really with them. Good luck.

You had the shaft replacement done there? Thanks for the info and referral.

They are gambling on the science. In Engineering, theoretical fatigue survival is considered once the item has passed 1,000,000 cycles with all the fatige loadings, conditions and part geometries taken into account.

I would assume they'd have done all the Engineering analysis thoroughly in order to reduce their recall costs as much as possible, and have satisfied themselves that the mileage caps represent a fatigue life pass.
In other words, if it doesn't break by such and such, it won't? My trike is well past the mileage cap at 29k.
