We visited my best friend Margaret and her family while on vacation. Her brother Yannick was over from Poland and plays guitar. Leah was enthralled by the guitar the whole visit and would go up to it and strum it every time she was near it. Yannick saved Margaret's life with a bone marrow transplant back in 2002 as Margaret was fighting T-cell Lymphoma.
When Leah rest's her head on people it is a sign of affection. She does not hug or kiss yet. She will make it a point to come up to us now and then and put her arms around our legs and push her forehead into us momentarily. It is cute, and I think it stems from how isolated we had to keep her after we brought her home and these last two winters. I think it also has to do with how carefully we handled her initially... People were not allowed to hug or kiss her face due to fears of immune issues early on. This will be the last winter for those concerns according to the doctors.
