• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Life Paint

:agree: It sure seems as if there's a lot of possibilities for it...
I'd give my helmet a good coating of it; what would YOU do? :D

Where I live you'd have to spray a 4X8 sheet of plywood with it and strap the plywood to your back to wake up some of the idiots. Only then...

I thought about the helmet but I already have Scotch guard reflective tape on it. I also thought about my boots that would make a good side reflector. Finally my riding jacket sleeves you see some done in the video and again good side and rear reflection.
Here is what scotch guard does. The white is black in daylight and what I have all my black parts of my helmet done with.

I'd spray it on my cat ...so I could find her with a flashlight when she sneaks out at night.

A very good idea IMO. I have always been a proponent of you can't have too many lights. The Life Paint would up the ante. I would also see a use for it on helmets. A lot of my Firstgear already has reflective elements, and the :spyder2: is lit up pretty good OEM wise.

I have added the LED trunk light system, and the lighted bumpskid in the front.

I don't see myself as taking a Life Paint shower to go riding.

What about rain?

My concern when I read about it was rain. It says that it washes off, so will it wash off in a good rain? That's when I need the reflectivity the most.

If we're talking about the stuff that Volvo are giving away FREE here....it's great!
The only drawback is that it only lasts around ten days....
Some of the new data on this water based paint indicates that it may only last a week. There's environmental concerns about the impact of all those paint cans.

i just looked it up, they say it only lasts for about a week, wonder if it would last longer if i were to put a
clear coat on it or would it mess up the reflectivity of it, o well right now it is only available in the u.k.
