• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

LIFTING BIKE

Where exactly do you place the lift underneath the bike to left. I have poured over the manual and can't seem to find it. My lift is a side, two plateform lift.:banghead:

By RS balances perfect with the lift going in from the side, placed so that the rear arm is on the back of the frame just before it goes up and over the exhaust. I have some pics I can post up when I get home later if that would help.
Its a bit of trial and error and not in any manual.

Depends..!

on your equipment. With the motorcycle/atv lift you place it as seen above and support it with stands. If it is a single /regular car jack, then place it as far forward on center frame to lift front end and place your stands then as far back to lift the rear wheel and place stand there. If you only have car sissor jack suggest you stop by harbor feight and pick up a jack. Very dicy without one. You can also use auto ramps for the front and then lift rear even with a sissor jack but place your stand...

BRP warns against lifting on the rear shock mount! Don't do it like Lamont shows in his last picture. Place the floor jack at the rearward most part of the frame. That will lift the rear wheel off the ground without risking damage.

If BRP warns against using the rear shock mount, were does one place the rear floor stand?:dontknow::dontknow:

THANKS FOR THE PHOTOS. My brother helped me install the Bajaron Sway Bar and a Bump Skid. We spent quite a bit of time under the front of the Spyder. The lift worked great, as shown in the photo. I will say that installing the Sway Bar on the 2014 was harder than my 2011 was. I have not had a chance to test drive yet, as it started raining and has not stopped. Oh well, This is Vermont!!!!!
