• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have you had these apart before? Are the tabs broken?

Yes had them off a few times with no prob. an yes the tap is broke. i have poped it back together an its loose so i am thinking the apoxie will work i have used it on other thangs an its very strong.

Why do you remove the mirrors to do an oil change? I never have and have done 7 oil changes.

:banghead: It's been a long day so I really missed that obvious question..... As for gluing, do so only if you never want to take them apart again. I would opt for something less permanent if it were me.....maybe a small black screw or two...?

;)Mystery solved. I really would opt for something less permanet if you are able. Never know when you might need to get into the mirrors..... I took mine apart when adding turn signal indicators and was pretty fearful of breaking those tabs. Had thoughts about what I would do if I did. Good luck!

I've got a snapped tab on the front side of my right mirror also... :yikes:
I'm also trying to figure the best way to add a screw in there somewhere...
