I am lucky, my dealer will install car tires on Spyders. He is even thinking about carrying some car tires.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
My F3S tire is showing wear after only 2000 miles.

Everybody please remember that in the past, if any tire outlets &/or dealers who did this were named on the public pages here, it wouldn't be long before at least some of them were contacted and told to either Stop doing so, or bad things would happen/they'd lose their Can Am Dealership! There have been some claims that at least a few former 'customer service oriented tire retailers &/or dealers' actually have lost their dealerships over this, either because they refused to be dictated to, or because 'someone' with the authority to make life difficut/pull the plug on them did so!
So while I believe most have been fairly careful so far in this thread, and no dealers have actually been named yet, please don't name &/or identify by location anyone who does! If you want to know &/or share any info on which tire outlet/dealer is doing what and you don't want to trigger any adverse repercussions for whichever outlets/dealers are involved, then you should probably use DM's to ask/share that info.
Mind you, those saying that 'their dealer' will do this juuust might want to think back carefully to recall if they've named their dealer on the Forum ever before, because there are some people/organisations out there who are very good at digging back thru the old posts and joining the dots!

You are very fortunate. But as Peter warns, this can end quite abruptly if the wrong people find out.
It is also important to note WHICH car tires they decide to carry. There is a BIG difference between the good ones and the rest.
Good point Ron on the WHICH tires that they carry. The reverse trikes are more prone to aquaplaning because you have one tire pushing the two fronts. The rear can get quite squirrelly! One of the reasons directional tires were designed was their superior anti aquaplaning abilities. I have been caught out more than once where cars were pulling off the road (mainly because of visibility) where as long as you controlled your acceleration it performed well. These things are delivered to us with directional tires (albeit crappy ones), put a quality one back on! Vredesten makes great directional tires that lasts a long time and shed water to the very end of their life.
