• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just got finished installing Tricled's 3rd and 4th brake light kit. Everything went smoothly. Removed the rear upper and lower body panels to make it easier to get to the wiring harness. I installed the LED's and the body panels. Everything went smoothly with the installation BUT upon trying to close the lid of the storage compartment it won't latch. It looks like the lid is not coming down far enough to latch. Now I have to say prior to the installation, the lid did require a good push to close. So I removed the two panels again double checked everything such as wiring not tucked in, any hangups, etc and really took my time re-installing the panels. I made sure the upper panel was in the proper place, panel seams even and so forth. Nope still won't close. So next I tried making small adjustments with the latch mechanism but to no avail. What am I missing here. Help!

If I was to guess you mounted the light strip around the Frunk lip too high. I had these on my '10 and my '14 and you have to make sure they are as low as they will get. Also is the tab on the rear panel tucked into the hole next to the latch all the way?

Steve, I will double check on the tab to make sure. As to the LED's being too high, no they are not in the way. I mounted them as low as they can get and I also checked that when this problem occurred. Thanks for the advice. Bob

When you put the top panel back on check to see the tab on the very top center, if this gets caught and hangs up it will cause it to hang up like you mention. Pull one side off and check the tab. Pull the panel until this tab slides in downward then hold the center while you put the side back down. A little twist on the side panel will get it to come down pretty easily. If you need more assistance please give us a call and we can try and walk you through it. Thank you.

Thanks guys, I took off panel again and made sure that little tab at the top got into the slot and that did it. I looked over and over trying to find what was the problem. That top tab looks in the slot even when it isn't but could see the difference once it was in the proper place. Thanks for the quick response from everyone. Greatly appreciate it!!
