• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need Help understanding a problem code... What does code 21C mean?

I did a search but could not find help for this. I have a like new, 2010 Can-Am RS SE5 with 300, yes 300 miles on it. It runs great, shifts smooth as silk, everything works like new. I also have a Kool Metal intake, a Two Brothers FI tuner to support the intake and exhaust mods, but the check engine light is lit and will not go away. I have found numerous suggested things to cancel it but nothing seems to work. When I checked for any fault codes it displayed (21C). I have checked all of the obvious causes and everything I can do is up to snuff, brake fluid, oil, antifreeze, new battery. Can someone please tell me what that 21C code means? I am hoping that will lead me in the right direction. Please help, Thank you, Please...

21C doesn't sound like a fault code, are you sure you are not on the ambient temp. screen?

After I saw some of the codes listed on the forum, I believe you are right in that I may not have a genuine code. Trying to get the codes to show up on the display goes beyond confusing. I found three different ways this was meant to be accomplished, and between the mode button, the blinker control, and the light switch, I was just glad to have anything pop up that looked like a usable code. I will work with it tomorrow to see if I can get something that can be identified as a real code #.

During part of my storage prep, I did have a battery die and I was hoping that was the cause of the check engine light issue. Thanks for your reply.

There's a few different ways to get those Codes to show up, methods that vary depending upon what year the Spyder is!
