NEWSFLASH Spyders converge on Cuba

Left Sat AM traveled to Arkansas for some crooked roads prior to Spyderfest.
Traveled old 71 south to I40 from fayetteville. then east on I40 and jumped on the pig trail part way to Eureka Springs then some other choice crooked roads. Gotta love these roads compared to the flatlands of KS.

What should show in the hotel lot next to our RT but another Spydelover from down TX way (nice chat folks see ya later this week in cuba)

The Elkas shined today. would have been extremely worn out riding the roads we did today with stock shocks, not to mention the added time on the road LOL.

Just as impressive as the shock was the cowtown rt performance package. This was our first opportunity to pull the loaded trailer up grade since we had this added. WoW the added power really is evident in this case.

Two more day riding in ARK then we will roll into Cuba wednesday AM

What's even funnier is telling people that you are going to CUBA (without mentioning that it is a town in MO)... One comment I heard was "So does that thing turn into a jetski???":roflblack::roflblack:

I've been telling everyone I'm going to Cuba this week, via Mexico. You should see the looks I get as folks try and figure it out:roflblack:, until I add the Missouri.

I would laugh at this, but fell for it myself. About four or five months ago when my daughter told me she was not going to be able to Skype the following weekend as she was going to Mexico. I asked her if she was driving or flying? When she said driving I started to worry, as she is an 88M (Military personnel driver) that can drive anything from a small vehicle to a 5-ton truck. What she normally drives is a non-armored Hum-vee type truck (don't remember what she calls it) to move people to the training areas. All I could think of was "what is going on in Mexico that the government is sending in the Army". Took the wife and I (sent both of us the same message) the rest of the day to get it out of her that she was talking about Mexico, New York. She thought it was so funny, but I know the wife and I got a few extra grey hairs out of it.

Headed on into Cuba today. Surprised at the number of Spyders already in place. They are everywhere.
