• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nice day for a ride

It's my last weekend in Georgia before moving back to Ohio. It's pretty cold up there and the fall colors are still peaking here, so I went for what's probably my last ride of the season. There's a State Forest and Clarks Hill Reservoir about 15 minutes from my apartment. Here's some random pics:

BTW Joe, I agree with the others regarding your pics. I enjoy them a great deal. Please keep them coming. And all the best in your new adventure in Ohio. I never got to here about the 3K week-end ride, but I bet it was epic!

It's not actually a new adventure, it's more like an ongoing one. I've lived in Ohio since 1992 and was only here in Georgia for 6 months while attending an Army school.

I do have one trip "in the can" that I still need to put up. I did 1100 miles Labor Day weekend and hit the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, Chickamauga Battlefield, and Andersonville Prison Camp.

After I got back, I was neck deep in my studies for my Cisco and Security+ certifications and I didn't get the chance to write it up.

Looks like a great ride! Love the shaking dog - that looks like it just feels good!

As to ryding - not today. Not here. Was 28 this morning and the neighborhood is a skating rink. Subaru barely went, no chance for the Spyder.

Say hi to the Buckeye state! Spent most of the first 25 years there. Good folks, and good riding.

Sounds like you have been a busy man! I've been through the Cisco training twice now (not the CCSP, CCNA/CCDA) and the last one was much tougher than the first time I did it in '06. They have dragged many of the CCNP elements to the NA cert. Even a brief section on WLAN and TCP/IP V6! That was pretty easy tho! Best of luck to you Sir!
