Being new, I was wondering why there is a vent cover on the left side and none on the right side where the cooling fan is.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thats been discussed many times on Spyderlovers over the years, Some even thought they lost it, or their dealer forgot to install it , My guess it it was left open by BRP to help vent the fan., Stand in front of a fireplace then put a screen in front of it and feel how much heat it blocks.

No doubt BRP would have continued with the molded plastic screen similar to the other covered vents, which would have been too restrictive. Something like Spyderpops fine mesh screen should work just fine.

...Particularly if you remove those "pans" that block off the area under the Tupperware... :thumbup:
