• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Odyssey Which PC680 ?

I Have a Spyder RT -S SE5 2010 Model

I am thinking of upgrading my OEM Battery and having used Odyssey batteries in the past
I would like to fit one of them

I understand the PC680 is the correct size but I have the following questions

There is a choice of 2 - See below

Odyssey battery PC680MJ Size 186mm x 81mm x172mm (A Little bigger than the one below)

Odyssey battery PC680 Size 179mm x 75mm x 165mm

Both are rated with the same specs but the Odssey PC680MJ Has a metal jacket for increased heat and vibration resistance

There is not a lot of cost difference between the 2

Which one would be more suitable ref the size needed to replace the Original Battery

Do I need the Odyssey battery 90 degree (L Shaped) terminal adaptor pair to Convert the vertical terminal mounts of the Odyssey battery to horizontal mounts

Can I disconnect the OEM Battery to fit the Odyssey battery without upsetting the onboard electrical systems - or is there any special procedure
I need to do - I am concerned that the Spyder may throw up some fault codes

Will the system reboot itself and will any previous settings I have made ref Radio channels stored etc have to be re-entered

Thanks
