There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

Yeah, it sucks. At first they didn’t even want to acknowledge me and my issues. I was like, wait a minute I spent a lot of money to only receive a defective product right out of the gate! Their customer service needs some work.
If BRP keeps it up, they are going to lose a bunch of followers with all of this crap! Sending stuff out before they have done enough R+D on it and we have to be their test team and then not get any support when it blows up in our faces, come on!!! Hold to your guns my friend, and don't let them turn this around on you!!

So just letting others know my (Australian) 2024 RTL has been leaking oil and coolant since the day I picked it up. I organised to have it looked at by the dealership and they replaced the water pump which apparently fixed the coolant leak but didn't fix the oil leak. Then they sealed all the sump bolts which didn't fix it. They then replaced the sump gasket which didn't fix it. Now they are going to use UV dye to see where it's coming from. The dealer seems to think it's porosity in the block. If that's what it ends up being then he said he won't do the epoxy fix, he'll push for a new long block... 5 months now since I have been able to ride it. 😞😞😞

I am sorry to hear that!! :cautious: There should be some recourse here for cases like this, some would say lemon law, it seems the dealers trying his best to make it right! The hard part is that they have to pinpoint the area before they can attack the problem! I hope you come to the end of this bad nightmare soon!!!🙏

Update: My Spyder is still at the dealer (since 11/15). The coolant leak requires a new cylinder head so that is on order and they are replacing the oil rings on the HCU cover. Hopefully this fixes the oil and coolant leaks. It’s been a tough first 100 miles. BRP has agreed to some type of compensation for my troubles so we’ll see how that goes. 🤞🏻

This is outrageous! Only 100 miles and in the shop since November of 2024? 100 miles, BRP should have taken this lemon back and supplied the OP with a new machine. It's BS is what it is!

I don't understand how BRP can treat their customers this way and expect to have ANY REPEAT customers!

Yes, BRP is the only name in the reverse trike game but at some point, their lack of customer support is going to blow up in their faces and they'll be left to wonder why!

Following your long list of aggravation on You Tube, as a customer, you certainly have been treated poorly. I don't understand BRPs attitude.

"Now they are going to use UV dye to see where it's coming from."

Seems to me this would be step 1...
I agree 100 percent. They just informed me yesterday that they can see the dye coming from around the oil pressure switch but they "need to remove the plastic from the right hand side of the bike to get a better look"!!! Seriously?!? Wouldn't you have removed the plastic covers from the start of the job as I said right from the beginning that the leak was from the right side and seems to be coming from the oil tank/reservoir area!!!

Do you have any other shops in your area? Maybe after you get this issue solved you should try a different place!

Unfortunately I'm in Australia so my dealership is hundreds of kilometers away and they are the nearest. The other ones are even further away. Most of the other spyder riders I've talked to have found their own "word-of-mouth reputable mechanic" (mostly non BRP certified though) however the nearest one for me is 600km away. But as it stands my dealership is pushing for a new replacement bike. He's had a gutfull of trying to find the leak and said BRP should be doing it themselves on their own time.
