• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I know, I know the proper way to attend the Maggie Valley is to Ryde. But circumstances may require us to make a trip to Wisconsin after the rally and we thought, why not take the Spyder? So we purchased this little 16' toy hauler. It has over 11' of garage and 5' of house. What do ya think?
The first two pictures were from the dealer's lot before I restriped it.

Do not worry what anyone thinks on how you get your Spyder where you are going. It looks great. I made a homemade version of one of those last month myself, to haul my Spyder when my wife and I go camping. It's not as nice as yours, but it still serves the same purpose. Link to pics below if you want to check it out.
Can I ask a favor of you ???
I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me where you got the graphics for the outside of the trailer so I can do the same design on mine. I would totally be grateful for that info. I would put a #2 next to mine so yours still would be one of a kind.

only thing to worry about is advertising you have a spyder inside for thieves ... i know but they are out there...

I saw your original post and that's one of the things that motivated me. Very nice unit. As far as the graphics, I made them myself. I used to do some graphics jobs as a side line and kept the equipment just as a hobby. Most any vinyl sign shop can make these or PM me and I can help you out.

Most thieves can't even spell Spyder let alone know what's in there. And if they decide to pop in when I'm there.........they will be met by Mr. Glock or Mr's Smith & Wesson, or maybe a few others!

Your Spyder nest is top of the line. That is a great looking transporter. Yes, I want 3 of those graphics. PM me with a price to make them for me. I will pay the shipping on top of your price. Again, nice trailer.

Really nice looking toybox. 16' is just about the right size for a toy hauler in my opinion. I'm curious how well the F-150 pulls it since toy haulers are usually heavier than other camper trailers. Very nice job on the graphics. As far as advertising to the thieves that a Spyder is inside, there's always something of value in a toybox.

Thanks for the kudos. I have an RV garage on my house that is only about 43' long since I enclosed it, so a 16' toy hauler (actually 20' with tongue) is all that I can comfortably fit in there with my F150 SuperCrew. Dry weight of the Forest River Work & Play 16UL is about 4300#. It has a gross weight of 7000# and the F150 is rated to tow up to 11000# so it's no issue at all. Handles it great.
;)

Very nice! :2thumbs: As long as it works for you and you get where you want to go safely, it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. There are 3 of you now (that I know of) that have solutions like this or similar to it. Very cool!

No, you are not a wimp! Great looking toy hauler. Great job on the graphics too! :2thumbs: I think you made a few of us envious here so be proud to drive it!

I have NO way to pull a trailer, but MAN I'm droolin over that! VERY nice job.

Not that hard there are ramps that come out the side. I drove it up and maneuvered it around till I liked were it was. This camper gives me more option for sleeping quarters. I looked at the work and play and they are very nice. But wouldnt work unless it was just my wife and I. I like taking some of my family with to enjoy the fun.
