• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Minnesnowta at it's finest!! The chart above reflects current status .... they are saying we are definitely going to be in the top 10 coldest winters on record by the end of the season.

Worst winter in a long time (since 1982-1983), cold, snowy, and roads WOW term like roadpocolypse is being used recently as all roads have turned to ice and accidents and spinouts everywhere with our last snowstorm of nearly a foot. Roadpocolypse is also relating to the large number of HUGE potholes developing on all roads....I hate to say it, but it will be another month (or two) before I get a ryde in around here....just looks terrible out -- thank you all for letting me vent! PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) and cabin fever have me in a state of panic!! Good news is we're heading to Arizona to ryde with some friends in March to get out of this area for awhile (whewwww....hopefully that will give me an attitude adjustment!!) LOL :roflblack::roflblack:

Minnesnowta is absolutely beautiful in the summer (all 90 days of it)! It's just the winters sometimes start early and end late....now that's the problem (at least for me). Time to look south for a winter home and be a "snowbird".:2thumbs:
worst winter in pgh, pa for years, that's it for us, winters from now on will be in Brookeville, fla. going to load up the toyhauler and get outta here

We are 1-2 years away from getting a place down south somewhere. Visiting friends in Phoenix area in March, but ultimately will end up in Florida area due to family in Florida and Georgia. Good for you....get out of the cold in PA and have some fun!:yes::yes:

Dave we were in the Capay Valley today for the Almond Festival. Must have bee 75. 18 Spyders on a gorgeous Northern California weekend. I hope all of you in the Northeast and Midwest thaw out quickly.

OLD man winter PLEASE go away, was in the 60's here this past week end now back to the 30's and a chance of snow next couple days. :banghead:

Enjoyed my ride Saturday.

One ray of hope... saw the first Robins outside my window just now. Hope they don't freeze. Single digits today and only heading down later in the week.

In the Twin Cities, we have run out of room to put snow....much snow in Sioux Falls? We always drive through there to see family out in Rapid City. Seems like when we've driven through your area in November and December, seemed like you didn't have as much snow as us....we got the double whammy...cold and lots of snow...so cold very little has melted and many driveways in the neighborhoods are so high you can't even see the cars in their driveway or around corners.

Hope spring gets here soon! Itchin' to ryde!!!!

Not sure what our total is for the winter, but enough... not as much as you though. We were lucky and had a couple of 40 degree days and melted unprotected areas back down to the grass...then 2-3 inches fell last night with several more predicted days of snow/ precip coming.:banghead:
