• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Over filled coolant

I overfilled the coolant bottle. Got to say whoever designed that thing should be checked for sanity :banghead:. Can't easily see coolant level no matter what I do:hun:. In a car I would just drive and let it be forced out. Is it ok to do this with a Spyder? Or the alternative how do I get coolant out? Tried to syphon but there is something in the way of putting tube all the way to bottom. BTW coolant tastes like :cus:. I had forgotten. Thx for help:bowdown:

3 WORDS.... AGREE, AGREE, & AGREE..... :gaah:
i extended my 'over-flow' tube and it now exits 1" under the chassic....

BTW Showie.... coolant can KILL YOU if you swallow enough... :lecturef_smilie:

Turkey baster with a long tube attached. Leaving it overfull will leave a mess on the deck, oops, floor. Might even over-pressurize the system.

Turkey baster would work except there is a blockage in the tank that doesn't allow hose to go in far enough to get coolant started with baster :banghead:.

You could also try a long tube in a funnel. We keep one in the tool kit actually it is clear vinyl oil proof hose and a kitchen funnel.

Syringe with tubing attached

Get a large syringe and attach a piece of tubing (fish tank pump air hose) to the end of the syringe. Cut the tubing long enough to go all the way into the coolant reservoir

I can't think of what would be blocking the opening. I just added coolant to our 2010 and there is no blockage. None noted on my 2012 either.

There is something down in there that prevents a largish tube from being inserted deep. As mentioned above, a fish take size tube will work. I siphoned some out of mine and added "Water Wetter"....which was a total waste of time and $$$.
