• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Pairing BRP Connect/Go with Phone and intercom - what is giving me this notice?

When I purchased my 2019 F3L, I paired my phone and Cardo intercom to BRP Connect. Because of various reasons, I chose to use the Cardo intercom for music and radio and the rare phone call. I do not connect my phone to the bike via the hard wire in dash compartment. On the rare occasion I receive a phone call, a notice is displayed on the Spyder's dash screen and there's a beep on my intercom. Is this displayed phone call notice due to the pairing of my phone or the Bluetooth pairing of my intercom? I’m thinking it’s all intercom Bluetooth, because I think BRP Connect only works if the phone is physically connected to the bike.

All sounds (music, phone calls and notifications) are via Bluetooth. The cable keeps the phone charged and has to be data capable if you use the BRP Go app in the dash.

Intercom is using headsets paired to each other. Both can be paired to the bike but if the passenger wants different music then pair theirs to a separate phone.

Also the headset should only be paired to the bike. Pairing to the phone as well as bike causes problems as the headset doesn’t know what to connect to all the time.

Liked you post, perhaps you can read this reply and my issues and help me fix them. Thanks.
Still having problems getting the very expensive Cardo Packtalk Duo Edge headsets to work properly on my Spyder 2022 Sea to Sky.
They seem to have issues on where the phone is paired. I have my helmet paired to my phone. And I can listen to Spotify via my phone. My rider has her helmet set the same for her phone.
However, the Spyder has my phone pared to it along with my helmet. I was riding the other day without the helmet, listening to Spotify on the external speakers, as I've always done because the helmets were not working right.
The sound stopped on those speakers, but the display still said that it is playing Spotify via BRP connect. It kept telling me that I needed to connect to BRP connect, or that the helmet was not on.
Can any of my fellow riders please give me the best solution for where to pair my phone, and or the helmets. I need a simple step by step. As I've had so many replies that I've more confused than the Spyder is.
BRP seems to be incapable of providing a solution on setting up and using Cardo on the Spyder. They blame Cardo and Cardo is not much use either, as I've had these units for over a year and still can't get things to work properly. I am so confused with trying to get the headsets working the way they should. And now there's these Speaker and BRP Connect issues. I'm about ready to dump everything. I've been told it's a Cardo issue, Cardo says it's a BRP issue, and there's also issue I have with the BRP Connect port in the glovebox not keeping my phone charged while using my phone. And like I mentioned above, now it will not connect to the phone!
