• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do you remove the plastic rivet? I need to remove the service cover so that I can check my coolest level. My Spyder has been picking coolant at several times today and once when I brought it home after my 600 mile service.

Let's see..!!

if they are like the ones on the RS, there is a slotted area on the center peg..when you lift this peg with a small screwdriver the outer section can be pulled up (sometimes with the same screwdriver) and removed..

I'll add one thing...if you pull the center out past the "stop", don't worry. If it comes all the way out it can easily be reinserted after the outer portion is removed from the vehicle.

In regards to the coolant leak, the most common cause of what you are seeing is failure to put the coolant cap on properly. It needs to be turned to the second detent. At the first detent it will not hold pressure, so coolant will puke out of the overflow. Yours wouldn't be the first dealer who had failed to do this during vehicle prep.

Thank you all for the answers. I was able to remove the rivet and add coolant. Now the spyder is sitting at the local dealer in Greenville to find out why it is overheating.
