After they took it off the showroom floor a year or so ago it’s been in a somewhat climate controlled outbuilding with other cycles. Cold in the winter but not below 40°.
They agreed to put in a new battery and I have negotiated them paying for the full first service at any Can-Am dealer. Among the items covered are … change engine oil & filter, lube chasis & suspension, inspect belt tension, retorque lug nuts/axle nuts, inspect idle speed, set tire pressures, inspect coolant and brake fluid level, and run B.U.D.D.S report. It’s a couple states away and I plan on going out and trailering it home. Any thoughts on what items should be done before I take it home or things to check since it’s sat for so long, would be appreciated.
Ridden for over 15 years but this will be my first Can-Am. Looking forward to it. I considered getting a 2024 and having some of the updates and not having to deal with these issues but I know I’ll be happy with the 2023 and I get to save a decent amount of money as well. Thanks for any input.
