There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The 600 mile service should have been done wich is basically an oil change and a complete check of fluid and stuff as well as a budds connection for error checks and any program upgrades. If its an SE model i would make sure that the parking brake fix has been done and the Gear Position sensor and spring has been replaced (parking brake fix is also for SM models but not a must have like it is for the SE)

It's under warranty...I'd highly recommend paying the $1000 and getting the BEST warranty for 5 years (from date of original purchase) from any authorized dealer when you finalize your purchase...this also gives you roadside assistance should there be a problem!

I bought mine used with 600 miles on it and I get treated like I bought it new. BRP sent me a welcome package with a pin and all that biz. The oil was changed when I got it but I took it in for the official 600mi. check up. And I did buy an extended warranty but from another source. You should be fine but I would ask/check the owners service history.
