Pulling Maintenance today

Today is a nice sunny 70 degree day, and all my friends are out riding. But not me......

My :spyder2: is due for it's second service (3,000 + 9,300) and I'm going to change the oil and most of the other items on the maintenance schedule myself. This is my first time working on a Spyder, so I've blocked of the entire day just so I can take my time and not feel rushed.

• 5 quarts of BRP Semi-Sythetic Oil? Check (Next time I'll get full synthetic)
• BRP oil filter? Check
• Gasket kit from Baja Ron? Check
• K&N air filter from Baja Ron? Check
• Ramps? Check
• Lift? Check
• Tools? Check
• Beer? Check
• Extra box of cuss words? Check
  

I've watched Shawn Smoak's amazing oil change video about a dozen times, including this morning while eating breakfast :bowdown: . I should be ready to go.

May I ask what type of lift you are using?

Harbor Freight. I have to pull the front wheels onto short ramps that I build out of wood in order to slide it under the :spyder2: because of the low clearance.

IMPORTANT; READ

I find if you mark numbers(1,2,3) on back side of panels when you go to reinstall your panels you just go in reverse (3,2,1) and youll find it easier.. For people with short term memory loss it works wonders..:clap:
