• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Quick Question Ref BAJARON's RT SWAYBAR

Just a quick question

Because I have fitted BAJARON's Swaybar to replace the OEM One on my Spyder RT - I have to advise my insurance company to ensure I would remain covered for accidents should they discovered they had not been made aware of any changes from OEM Items any claim may be invalid

I have to complete their Form - Motorcycle Modified Vehicle Report Form

Which section should I list the Swaybar in

1 - Suspension

Part (B) - Please detail all steering modifications (List the Swaybar here)

or

4 - Framework and Chassis

Part (C) - Please detail all modifications to the Chassis (or List the Swaybar here)

Other sections included - Modifications to Engine & Transmission, Intake and Exhaust, Suspension, Brakes, Framework and Chassis and Wheels
So I don't think the Swaybar would fit it to any of those categories

 Wow!!!
Did they send an envoy out from the Royal Family to inspect it?? :joke:
Your insurance companies over there do not have a sense of humor...

It would be a suspension modification.

Eddie, do they still do the VAT inspections?? Man they were rough. My yank tank (1977 Ford F150) failed for worn rubber on the ball joints and a cracked headlight lens. I had a mini panel truck that failed for rust on the undercarriage/floor pan. I had to have a piece of sheetmetal welded on before it would pass. Funny thing was I could put the mini in the back of my pickup.

Here in the UK

Any vehicle over 3 yrs old has to undergo an MOT Test (Ministery Of Transport) annual test held at an approved
Garage - Some do Cars, So do Motorcycles and a few do Trikes/3 Wheelers
The Spyder is classed as a Tricycle
Its more of a safety check for Brakes, Lights, Tyre depth. C02 omissions etc

It can be a worrying time bit like a health check at the Doctors

My Spyder is due to its first MOT in June this year
